À PROPOS
J’ai un parcours très classique : enfant douée pour les arts, mais pas trop intéressée par l’école (dommage, car maintenant j’adore apprendre !), études en infographie, parce qu’il me fallait bien un « vrai » métier.
Je suis revenue m’installer dans les Laurentides après mes études et quelques années « en ville » et j’ai démarré et opéré pendant plusieurs années mon entreprise, qui se spécialisait en lettrage et affichage.
J’ai cessé mes activités il y a trois ans pour me concentrer sur mon art (avec un petit deux jours par semaine à faire de l’administration dans une caserne de pompiers !), car j’avais envie de faire mes créations et de me développer en tant qu’artiste.
I have a pretty classic background, you know? A kid who was good at art but wasn't all that interested in school (which is a shame, because now I absolutely love learning!). I ended up studying computer graphics, mainly because my parents wanted me to get a 'real' job.
After finishing my studies and spending a few years 'in the city,' I moved back to the Laurentians. I started and ran my own business for several years, specializing in lettering and signage.
I stopped doing that three years ago to focus entirely on my art (I still do admin work two days a week at a fire station, though!). It was just time, you know? I wanted to focus on my own creations and develop myself as an artist.
